She also serves on the Board of Directors for Long Beach B.L.A.S.T., a youth mentoring organization and in Cameo, an auxiliary to the Assistance League of Long Beach whose philanthropy involves long‐term mentoring relationships between high school students and professional women. Michelle is an active Long Beach community member acting as a GATE Parent Advisory Committee member to LBUSD, working with the PTA, and serving on the Trustees, an educational board of the Aquarium of the Pacific. Michelle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV Communication from California State University, Fresno. Raised in Orange County, Michelle has been in Long Beach for over 20 years where she currently lives with her two children and husband, John, CFO for Molina Healthcare. She has been a PeaceBuilder since 1994 and a PeaceBuilders trainer and curriculum developer since 1998.
Prior to the creation of PeacePartners, she served as a teacher in grades 4-8 and administrator for the Paramount Unified School District in California for ten years. Michelle Molina has served as the Chief Executive Officer and Owner of PeacePartners since its inception in May of 2003.
